Eurocae and Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics (RTCA) working groups are making progress on the ED-201A/DO-391 standard. What will its advancement mean for establishing a framework that links the various portions of security in aviation systems together? As the relevant standards are being updated and new ones generated, ED-201 is being updated to capture these changes. In addition, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is in the process of generating a set of “horizontal rule” regulations across all aviation domains to introduce an Information Security Management System and shared risk across organizations.
