Aeronautical Information System Security (AISS) Framework Updates and International Coordination
About
Eurocae and Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics (RTCA) working groups are making progress on the ED-201A/DO-391 standard. What will its advancement mean for establishing a framework that links the various portions of security in aviation systems together? As the relevant standards are being updated and new ones generated, ED-201 is being updated to capture these changes. In addition, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is in the process of generating a set of “horizontal rule” regulations across all aviation domains to introduce an Information Security Management System and shared risk across organizations. During this interactive session, Dr. Stefan Schwindt, Principal Product Security Leader, Cybersecurity Technology & Risk – Product Security, GE Aviation, will give a presentation with updates on progress with ED-201A, with a focus on how it will impact relevant aviation industry stakeholders.
