This will be a hybrid live webinar/seminar event. You may attend in-person at Urology Austin or log-on online to view the presentation live.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) affects more than 30 million men in the U.S. It is especially common in men with prostate surgery, diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity. However, it is now possible to treat almost all men with ED! ED undermines a man’s sexual confidence – but successful treatment can help restore it! Many ED treatments are covered by most insurance and prescription plans. Attend a FREE Men’s Health event sponsored by Dr. Osterberg and Coloplast Corp. to educate men and their partners about approved ED treatment options.

Dr. E. Charles Osterberg
Urologist
Dr. Osterberg is a board-certified urologist with fellowship training in male genitourinary reconstruction. He moved to Austin in 2016 to join the University of Texas-Dell Medical School as Associate Professor of Surgery. Dr. Osterberg specializes in reconstructive urology, genitourinary trauma, prosthetics, and robotic surgery. After serving as the Chief of Urology at Dell-Seton Medical Center—the main teaching hospital for Dell Medical School for 7 years, Dr. Osterberg transitioned his practice to Urology Austin, an affiliate of Urology America. At his new practice, he and his team have performed hundreds of complex urologic reconstructions and urethral stricture surgeries.

After receiving his undergraduate and medical degrees from Northwestern University, Dr. Osterberg completed his urology residency at Cornell New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. It was here that he trained with world experts who pioneered the field of DaVinci ® robotic surgery.

Dr. Osterberg then completed a fellowship in genitourinary reconstruction and trauma with world renowned reconstructive urologists Drs. Benjamin N. Breyer and Jack W. McAninch at the University of California, San Francisco. It was here that he became passionate about the treatment of many complications from prior urologic surgery such as: urethral strictures, radiation injury, genital lymphedema, stress incontinence, erectile dysfunction, urinary fistulas, voiding dysfunction, and penile curvature.

Following fellowship, Dr. Osterberg moved to Austin to become the first fellowship trained male reconstructive urologist in central Texas who focuses exclusively on male urethral stricture disease. He also has a special interest in penile implant surgery, Peyronie’s disease, robotic ureteral reconstruction, and complications of prostate cancer treatment, including bladder neck contractures, rectal fistulas, and incontinence (artificial urinary sphincter placement).

As an author of over 85 peer-reviewed publications and several textbook chapters, Dr. Osterberg has been invited to give national and international lectures on urologic reconstruction. He currently serves as a member to the American Urological Association and the Society for Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons. He is a Diplomat to the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) . In addition, he serves as an expert reviewer for the Journal of Urology and Urology - the official journal for the society of urologic reconstruction.
