Now more than ever, electric vehicle (EV) mobility applications — from automotive to the new advanced air mobility (AAM) — face increasing market demands to achieve a sustainable, scalable and cost-effective future. Despite recent innovations within the market, choosing the right materials for propulsion systems — including thermal runaway management — remain a critical engineering challenge to create a lighter, higher-performance, energy-efficient vehicle.

In this webinar, Toray will examine common challenges seen in electric motors, battery enclosures and power distribution units (PDUs), using examples within these emerging electric transportation markets. It will also discuss composite material solutions demonstrated through customer success stories and cutting-edge trials.

With proven advanced composite solutions and support from an experienced global technical service expert network, industry leaders can achieve peak mechanical performance for innovative next-generation mobility applications from prototype to full-scale production assistance.
