    Elias Boletis holds a Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Degree from NTUA, Greece (1980) and a MSc from the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics, Belgium (1981). He has received a PhD in Applied Sciences from the University of Brussels, Belgium (1985). Elias Boletis started his industry career in aircraft propulsion. He moved to the marine sector and served for longer than 25 years at Wartsila Corporation in leading positions as Head of Technology and Business Director. He has driven the development of electronic engines, propulsion and systems. He introduced several new propulsion products and decarbonization technologies. He has left from Wartsila in 2022. He is currently Senior Advisor on Vessel Propulsion and Energy Efficiency, leading his Consulting Company ‘Enarete Marine BV’, established in the Netherlands. He is advising ship owners on the best solutions for the decarbonization of their fleet. He is contributing to new product development and especially to technical and manufacturing readiness. He is associated with RINA Marine Consulting and several industrial partners. He is the Head of the CIMAC Working Group 10 ‘Product Users’. He is a member of SNAME, ASME, Imarest.

Laura has a master’s degree in Economics & Business Administration from Åbo Akademi University and she has since an early age been involved in the family business. Thanks to the excellent knowledge in the maritime industry and the good business sense, Laura has led the shipping company successfully. The marine component manufacturing company Langh Tech, part of Langh Group, is also led by Laura. Langh Tech manufactures scrubbers, BWMS and is now developing carbon capture solution for the marine industry.
