Kareem Afzal

Vice President, PDC Machines

Mr. Kareem Afzal is the Vice President of PDC Machines, a company that provides engineered solutions for clean fuel refueling stations, gas producing, chemical and petrochemical companies worldwide.

PDC Machines is the world’s leading provider of compression technology to the early market hydrogen energy and refueling market for fuel cell cars, buses, trucks, forklifts, trains and so on. PDC is a scaling achieving record revenue and unit sales year on year for the last 8 years. PDC is constantly innovating to mean and exceed the hydrogen industry’s needs- growing our product portfolio through direct product development investments and through partnerships.

Kareem started his career as a design engineer, working on product and project design for industrial and specialty gas markets and at the time the early demonstration market of the hydrogen energy business. After 15 years in engineering, Kareem moved to sales and business development and now leads the worldwide team. During his time as VP, PDC started 4 offices overseas to enable direct to customer sales and support for PDC’s equipment.

Kareem is deeply passionate about hydrogen as a fuel. He served as the PDC representative to the executive committee of the Fuel Cell Hydrogen and Energy Association's Board of Directors. PDC also is a member of the California Hydrogen Business Council, The Center for Hydrogen Safety, SAE China Hydrogen group and serves on multiple codes and standard bodies supporting the development of hydrogen codes and standards.

Michael Walsh

Global Industrial Sales Manager

Michael is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He has been an employee at PDC Machines since August 2017. Michael previously worked for Pressure Products Industries for 30 years in the diaphragm compressor industry. Michael also worked for Sundyne from 2015 to 2017 as Business Development Manager handling key accounts worldwide for Sundyne’s centrifugal pump and centrifugal compressor products. He has worked closely with customers in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Specialty Gas, and Alternative Energy industries as well as others.

Garry Gallo

Sales & Marketing and Customer Service

Garry has worked in this industry for the past 22 years and has been with PDC since 2000. He works in both Sales and Service of process equipment, reactors, and diaphragm compressors. Garry specializes in specialty gas cylinder transfil applications and travels worldwide to perform start-up, commissioning,service and training.

Jason Casper

Senior Product Engineer, Weldcoa

Jason is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has been an employee at Weldcoa since May 2007 working on products and projects to support gas distributers. Specializing in fill plant solutions, and fill system designs.

Weldcoa handles everything from palletization to specialty gas filling and automation. Weldcoa offers a wide range of fill plant equipment for both the manual and automated filling of gas cylinders, for palletized or non-palletized environments. For over 50 years Weldcoa has led the way through innovation, making it possible to move, fill and store cylinders like never before. Our products can help businesses improve profitability and safety.
