Knowing your athlete better = being able to create better training programs and ultimately improve performance.
A part of knowing your athlete better is understanding goals, time restrictions, needs and motivation, AND understanding the body, the physiology and the trainability of an athlete. Because ultimately, training is mostly about increasing the physiological / metabolic capacities of an athlete.
You gain this knowledge partly by experience: just coach an athlete long enough to get a somewhat better understanding of what works and what doesn't for that athlete — basically trial & error. And at some point, after a portion of wasted coaching time and the time of your athlete, the training will become more efficient.
On the other hand, it is the 21st century. There is the science, the knowledge and technology to do better than this. And this is what this webinar is about: utilizing science and technology to kick-start coaching an athlete by essentially cutting the learning curve to zero. Take a look inside the athlete to best understand his or her unique physiological profile, strength and weaknesses and identify what to work on in training.
