About
Our first talk will delve into the practical side of photographing the night sky with a DSLR camera, covering the key differences between astrophotography and daytime photography. Award-winning astro imager Miguel Claro is your expert guide to creating great nightscape photos, capturing the night skies glittering over the landscape in panoramas and mosaics. We’ll look at the important camera settings and how to achieve focus across the night sky and foreground, as well as photos showing the stars at their best both in constellations and close approaches of the Moon and planets, and how to capture star-trail images that reveal the dynamic movement of our planet Earth.

In the second part of each of the Masterclasses, there is a Q&A with the Masterclass speaker, where you can submit your question throughout the masterclass and vote on your favourite question from the audience.

You will receive access to the Masterclass recording within 24 hours once the event has ended and will be able to watch this recording for a maximum of 10 times. Alongside this you will unlock an exclusive magazine offer, giving you 6 issues for just £9.99!

Save 24% when you purchase a series ticket and get access to all three Masterclasses in the DSLR Astro Imaging Series, or pay £17.50 per individual Masterclass event.
