This presentation will familiarize participants with one of IRS Criminal Investigation’s core mission cases: unscrupulous return preparers who may have violated the tax law(s). It will also cover when contact is made by IRS Criminal Investigation with the professional return preparer when a client is under investigation.

Presenter:
Before forming the Black Raven Advisory Group, LLC Christopher Wajda, served for more than 32 years with the Internal Revenue Service. His last position was as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) of the Washington D.C. Field Office - IRS - Criminal Investigation. As the ASAC, he led and guided some of the most significant criminal white-collar investigations ever to have been conducted in the U.S
Currently Christopher Wajda is in private practice in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area serving clients on a worldwide basis. He is a licensed Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service, and he is registered as a private investigator with the Commonwealth of Virginia (99-662057). He has over 35 years of experience in complex criminal and civil financial investigations.

Refund Policy
Refunds will be honored if written notification is received at the Administrative Office fourteen days prior to event. A processing fee of $25 will be deducted from the refund. Cancellations within 14 days of the event will not be accepted. Substitutions are always allowed for in-person registration. Substitutions are only allowed for webinar registrations if received 48-hours prior to the start of the webinar. “No Shows” forfeit their fees.
Cancellation
VASEA reserves the right to cancel any program or course for circumstances that are not under direct control of VASEA. If a course or program is cancelled, registrants will be notified via email at the address listed on their registration form.
