The AI Act, formally known as the Artificial Intelligence Act, is a piece of legislation proposed by the European Commission in April 2021. Its aim is to provide a legal framework for artificial intelligence (AI) within the European Union (EU) to ensure that AI systems are safe and respect fundamental rights and values. As the first comprehensive regulatory framework for AI, it has generated significant attention and discussion.

Our workshop aims to introduce an overview of AI regulation (AI Act) in preparation and discuss how to prepare banks for it.

We will provide an overview of the AI Act, and current state-of-the-art approaches and research directions, and discuss relevant use cases in banking and fintech. We will explore how to address the unique challenges in banking, especially yours.

We look forward to having you join us in this important conversation and working together to create a more transparent and ethical AI landscape in the banking sector.

Let's make AI human compatible!
