This Free Live Web Class is approximately 60 minutes in length.
You are invited to come join ICM's Counseling & Learning Hour to discuss Spiritual Abuse presented by ICM's President, Dr. Ray Self.
Join ICM for an important discusison on what qualifies as spiritual abuse and look at the effects and the cures for this common problem.
Most Christians at one time or another have been hurt by a mislead church leader. This does not disqualify the church but it does bring awareness to a common problem that should be discussed. Many have been victims of spiritual abuse without being aware.
Spiritual abuse can be disguised as the authority of the church. But truly Godly authority does not manipulate or control against a persons free will. Sadly some pastors and church leaders have abused their church members because of selfish interests or misinterpretation of scripture. This discussion will look at what scripture has to say about this kind of abuse and how to be healed if you have been a victim.
