I started my Shrine career in the mid 90's at the Shriners International HQ, working in the Accounting Department. After 6 years, I departed for a position which offered additional opportunities in business management, office management, material coordination and operations. A few years later, I found a new employment opportunity with the local Shrine in Tampa. In my five years with Egypt Shriners, I worked in multiple areas including Temple Administration, Temple Accounting, and – my favorite – working with the membership team. In this role, I helped to process petitions, collect and post dues, and also assisted those amazing Nobles and their families. Suddenly, another opportunity presented, to return to Shriners International HQ in the Fraternal Information Services (FIS) Department, where I have now served for 5 years. My role includes working with the FIS Team, building team relationships with all Shrine Divan officers, Temple Staff, and Shriners leaders from the 198 Shrine temples, and all those amazing members who need WebFez support, assisting to build best business practices, and provide training as needed.
