In our second Black History Month webinar, FA Education welcomes former player and England international Emile Heskey and Head of Development at Kick It Out, Troy Townsend to discuss the rising consciousness of the modern-day player. Marcus Rashford proved over the summer the tremendously positive impact modern players can have on society as he single-handedly changed government policy with his campaign for free school meals.
This is an opportunity to discuss the impact of modern-day players beyond the pitch. Troy will also discuss the work he is doing to continue to raise awareness and increase understanding of some of the key issues players are facing on a daily basis, plus Emile will be discussing his career and aspirations.
In this live Q&A it’s over to you to share your thoughts and questions with Emile and Troy, who can’t wait to answer your questions.
