Coco Cabrel ’87 BS, ’89 MD, is the founder of MeditationTales, her creative, actually fun guided meditations for better sleep, faster focus, and calming stress and burnout smack in the middle of the chaos – even if you think you’ve failed at all the other methods. She also uses this subscription content in private coaching and consulting for families with teens, professionals/executives, and businesses/institutions.
For this work, she draws from her 30 years of expertise and experience in teaching and building curricula in both health sciences and dance, working as a Reiki Master, and flamenco performance and choreography – plus her own full recovery from workplace bully-induced PTSD, as well as raising 2 teens into adulthood with 2 more teens still at home.
Coco’s inspirational methods combined with her love of mentoring Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine students, has led to her becoming a sought-after speaker on the topics of sleep, stress and burnout relief, parenting teens, anti-bullying, as well as how to achieve harmony in life for artist-scientists.
Dr. Coco, as her thousands of students and clients call her, graduated from the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University and the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. You may contact her directly at
