ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
If you work with youth in a clinical setting, in programs, or at school, you can be certain that you are working with a number of young people at any given time who have experienced some form of abuse.
In this 60 minute training, our Child Advocacy Clinician, Melissa Martinez M.A., LPC dives deep into what it means to meaningfully provide support to youth who have experienced violence. She will explore with the audience types of abuse and symptoms of trauma, types of caregiver support and how different approaches impact the young survivor, and ways of effectively collaborating and implementing trauma-informed interventions with families, schools, youth services programs, and more.
This session is perfect for folks working with youth populations in both clinical and non-clinical settings, mental health professionals, folks providing support to youth in the school setting, and anyone else who may be interested in the clinical perspective on this topic.
If you are unable to attend the live event, your ticket will provide you free access to the recording. If you are finding this session after the live event has occurred, you will be able to pay for access to the on-demand, interactive recording.
