Jaime Costello joined the National Council on Problem Gambling in April 2022 as the Director of Programs. She oversees planning, development, and evaluation of NCPG programs, supports strategic planning efforts through consistent monitoring, and serves as a spokesperson for national problem gambling efforts. Jaime is an experienced public health professional with nearly fifteen years of experience working in the problem gambling field. She is passionate about engaging the community in change efforts and emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary work. Jaime received her Master of Public Health from the University of New England, and lives with her family in the Adirondack Park.
Charmaine Hogan
Head of Regulatory Affairs | Playtech
Charmaine Hogan is Head of Regulatory Affairs at Playtech, a global supplier to the gambling industry. with a focus on new and re-regulating markets. Charmaine has been working in the gambling industry for several years. Before moving to the UK in 2016, Charmaine resided in Brussels where she worked on EU legislation and policy development, both on behalf of the government (Malta) and at the European Commission. At the European Commission, Charmaine led discussions with European gambling regulatory authorities on national regulations and EU policy development such as consumer protection, as well as with industry. Prior to that Charmaine worked at the national trade body for industry (Malta), and at Malta’s Office responsible for EU affairs. At Playtech, the experience is shared globally in engaging with policy-makers and stakeholders from local to national and international levels, and in providing regulatory development advice to the business.

She is responsible for the development of DK's Responsible Gaming strategic framework and providing employees and customers with education, safer play gaming information, tools and resources as well as developing and maintaining external stakeholder relationships.

Cait DeBaun is vice president, strategic communications and responsibility at the American Gaming Association (AGA). DeBaun leads the AGA’s responsibility efforts and integrated communications strategies to promote the social and economic value of the $261 billion gaming industry. DeBaun currently oversees the AGA’s Have A Game Plan® PSA campaign, working with sports leagues and teams and sportsbook operators to educate consumers on responsible sports betting. DeBaun also plays a key role in the association’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, executing advocacy and industry communications strategies to support casino gaming’s ongoing recovery.
