Lane McCaskill
Director of Flow Control Engineering
Lane McCaskill is the Engineering Director for the Flow Control Engineering at NOV. This group is responsible for all of the engineering for the Chokes and Board Valve products that NOV manufactures. He has been with NOV for over twenty years. During this time he developed the longest lasting chokes in the industry that have become the leading solution for the most severe wells in the world.

Lane started his career in the oil industry by working for Cameron for ten years, during which time he conducted extensive choke performance testing that led to significant improvements in the life of chokes in the most severe environments in the industry. These developments led to the first fully fail safe subsea chokes to be deployed in ultradeep water applications.

After Cameron he spent four years developing deep water subsea clamps, jumpers and other ROV tools for the installation and repair of deep water pipelines, PLETs, PLEMs and production trees.
