Katie is the clinical nurse specialist for secondary breast cancer in the Breast Cancer Now nursing team. Prior to this, Katie worked in the NHS for 20 years in a variety of roles in oncology and palliative care. Katie is passionate about improving care and services for those affected by secondary breast cancer.

Clinical nurse specialist, living beyond primary breast cancer
Sonia is the clinical nurse specialist for living beyond primary breast cancer in the Breast Cancer Now nursing team. She has worked for over 10 years in the NHS in various roles within the specialty of breast cancer. She aims to achieve Breast Cancer Now’s vision, to help those diagnosed with breast cancer to live and live well, through her work.

Catherine Priestley
Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist
Catherine is the senior clinical nurse specialist for secondary breast cancer at Breast Cancer Now. She works on the charity’s Helpline and Ask Our Nurses written enquiry service, as well as supporting the policy and campaigns, press and services teams in an advocate role ensuring the voice of secondary breast cancer is heard. She also plays a crucial role in supporting people living with secondary breast cancer and helps co-ordinate the Secondary Breast Cancer Nursing Group, made up of nurses passionate about, and working with, those with secondary breast cancer.
