Dr. Mohab Ibrahim

Dr. Mohab Ibrahim earned his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry with a minor in mathematics while participating in the Undergraduate Biology Research Program at the University of Arizona. After completing his training, Dr. Ibrahim returned to the University of Arizona, where he is now a tenured professor of Anesthesiology, Pharmacology, and Neurosurgery. He is the director of the chronic pain clinic, the chronic pain fellowship at the Banner Medical Center-University of Arizona, and the associate medical director of the Center for Comprehensive Pain and Addiction. Dr. Ibrahim is also a pain physician at the Southern Arizona Veteran Affairs Health Care System. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ibrahim has an active research laboratory addressing missing gaps in our knowledge about chronic pain with several emphases, including Photobiomodulation. He is currently funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense, and the Veteran Affairs Administration.
