ASES Webinar: California Wildfires & Outages - the Spark that Lead to a Solar (& Storage) Tsunami
Recorded
Monday, December 9, 2019 · 12:00 p.m.
ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
Join Bill Ellard of Energy Solution Partners and Carly Cipolla with ASES as we look into the past, present, and future in exploring California's recent devastating wildfire and power outages. We will analyze the root causes of the fires, blackouts, and discuss the possible utility business models for California that will reduce these events in the future.
We will look at solar, micro grids, and energy storage solutions, as key tools for grid resilience and fire prevention. We will also look at the economics for solar fire barriers, and solar microgrids for residential and commercial buildings. Grid-scale and municipal solutions will also be discussed.
Another key focus of this webinar will be municipal solutions using solar microgrids. With the recent preemptive power outages, many municipalities could not provide basic services such a water and fire fighting. We will discuss the key future trends in the solar industry that will provide the toolsets for California in its movement to the 100% renewable economy - with the focus on energy inverters and storage solutions.
Join us December 9 and be sure to register even if you cannot attend live to get access to the recorded version after it airs.
