This webinar is on the topic that brings Under One Roof its majority of users – how to get your co-owners to take part in common repairs. If you are faced with owners who refuse to pay their share of common repairs, the law directs you to a number of confrontational solutions. We will discuss the reality of using these solutions and some alternatives.

We have two guest speakers – Jim Bauld, a solicitor specialising housing and litigation and Graham Boyack Director of Scottish Mediation.

If you wish to obtain a CPD Certificate for attending this webinar, look out for the course code embedded in the recording and then follow this link to the form which must be completed with the course code. Your certificate will be emailed to you.

Annie Flint became interested in tenement management when she had some interesting experiences during communal block repairs. She subsequently wrote "The Tenement Handbook" with her co-author John Gilbert. After many further adventures in all things tenemental, and when the Tenement Handbook became sadly dated, Annie and John set up the website www.underoneroof.scot that took the Handbook online. Under One Roof has been widely praised, even being mentioned favourably in the Scottish Parliament.
