There is a push in almost every school district across the United States to support teachers in collaborating with each other. But what can teachers authentically work on together? Many schools have teachers who teach different mathematics to different students making professional conversations more difficult to engage in. Many such conversations end up being sharing sessions with no specific take-aways for individual teachers. In this presentation, we'll learn how using instructional routines can shift professional dialogue to common problems of practice and thereby increase learning opportunities for all teachers.
