High Court Halftime: The U.S. Supreme Court’s October Term 2020 at Midpoint

Mark is Co-Chair of Orrick LLP’s nationwide Supreme Court and Appellate Practice Group. His practice focuses on litigation matters for technology companies, particularly ones that lead the world in hardware and software innovation. He is the Counsel of Record on an amicus brief filed on behalf of Apple in "U.S. v. Arthex," a case in which the justices will hear arguments on March 1.

Archis, a litigation partner in Mayer Brown’s Washington DC office, is a co-chair of the firm’s Consumer Litigation & Class Actions practice, recently named by Law360 as a class action group of the year. He also is a member of the firm’s Supreme Court & Appellate practice. Along with two firm colleagues, he prepared an amicus brief for the Chamber of Commerce of the United States of America in support of the Petitioner's successful certiorari petition in "TransUnion v. Ramirez."

Lyle is a Partner with Shearman & Sterling in the firm’s Litigation practice. Lyle represents companies, officers, and directors in securities cases and Securities and Exchange Commission enforcement matters throughout the United States. He also conducts corporate internal investigations and counsels clients with respect to securities regulatory issues. He is the author of the well-known blog, The 10b-5 Daily, and was Counsel of Record on an amicus brief for Washington Legal Foundation in support of Goldman Sachs' certiorari petition in "Goldman Sachs v. Arkansas." He also drafted WLF's brief on the merits in "Goldman Sachs."
