KIVA provides training and consulting services for tribal nations and tribal organizations to assist in their pursuit of self-determination and to assist in the preservation and protection of their sovereignty.

Mr. Nuvamsa is a noted expert on the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act, he played a key role in the technical amendments to the Act and was instrumental in developing the regulations for the Act. KIVA is Indian Country’s authority on the Indian Self-Determination Act.
