Adaptation Strategies for All

About This Webinar

Historic buildings are not just landmarked buildings with designated historical significance; they can be any older building, neighborhood, or community institution worthy of preservation. Presenters will discuss projects in Florida, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina that practiced equitable approaches to climate change issues associated with flooding, high winds, and heat. These case studies demonstrate diverse community engagement methods that helped translate the layers of regulatory programs. In addition, attendees will learn how empowering tenants and property owners with various adaptation strategies is equally important as addressing alternatives to expensive structural modifications.
