Meet The Presenters

Frank Romano

Professor Emeritus at Rochester Institute of Technology

Prolific author. Industry guru. Technological pundit. Renowned expert. Sage. Frank Romano, Professor Emeritus at Rochester Institute of Technology and President of the Museum of Printing, is all these things and more. With over 60 years in the printing and publishing industries, Frank has traveled the world as an in-demand consultant and speaker, lectured extensively at RIT and other universities, authored thousands of articles and over 50 books. His most recent, The History of Desktop Publishing, traces the history of typesetting and is something of a history of Frank himself.
Ken Garner

Senior Vice President, Association for PRINT Technologies

Ken’s career in the graphic communications industry spans more than four decades. For over thirty years he led the growth and development of a prominent publication printing company, before moving to the world of association management in 2008.
Ken has participated several industry boards including serving as chairman of NAPL and the Graphic Arts Education Foundation. He was awarded the prestigious Soderstrom Award in 2004. As SVP at Association for PRINT Technologies, Ken is passionate about innovative thinking and helping businesses cultivate long term success.
