A Different Point of View: IPV in the LatinX Community

This webinar will focus on the way intimate partner violence is experienced within the LatinX community and the complex difficulties that its survivors face. The presenters will discuss the particularities exhibited on the immigrant power and control wheel and the way that LatinX culture can compound the conditions of intimate partner violence.

This training is tailored to the general public and is especially helpful for providers, educators, and students.

The Center for Family Justice (CFJ) provides free and confidential trauma-informed services and coordinates care for all victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, and child abuse in six towns in Fairfield County, Connecticut: Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford, and Trumbull.
