The holidays can feel extra heavy and challenging as a bereaved parent. Join Emily Graham, author of Confessions of Child Loss, for a discussion on how we survive the holidays (and maybe even have moments of peace) after the loss of a child.
Not only will you validate exactly how you're feeling, but you will also gain some tips and strategies to help you better navigate the in-your-face joy of the season, all of the "happy" family and friend time, old holiday traditions, parties, and never-ending memories that just keep popping up.
Emily's 7-year-old son, Cameron, died unexpectedly Christmas of 2015 (also her birthday). She is mom to 2 daughters (now ages 11 & 7). The entire world literally counts down to the worst day of her life... forcing her to find ways to better balance and manager her grief while re-engaging with the holiday in a new way.
This will be a live event. Participants will not be on camera but will be able to ask questions and interact via chat. For those who cannot attend live, a replay link of the event will be sent out via email.
