A winner of the 2015 Astral Artists National Auditions and a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts, Annie Wu has been soloist with the San Francisco Symphony, Vienna International Orchestra, California Symphony, Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, Livermore-Amador Symphony, Diablo Symphony Orchestra, and the San Jose Chamber Orchestras. She is the recipient of a number of awards, including First Prize winner of the 2016 James Pappoutsakis Flute Competition and the 2011 National Flute Association’s High School Soloist Competition, where she was the youngest winner in the competition’s history. Annie recently self-released her debut album, They Call Me Mignon: 11 variations on a voice, and graduated from Harvard University in Comparative Literature. As a student of a five-year dual degree program between Harvard and the New England Conservatory, she also received a Master’s degree in Flute Performance.
